Undergraduate Research Certificate (URC) will serve as a portfolio of research competencies for students leading to a certificate. Students will gather “artifacts” (coursework, training, and evidence of experiences) in order to complete the URC. The URC is highly recommended for IINSPIRE LSAMP students.
Undergraduate Research Certificate Requirememts
The URC is a competency based program certificate that includes the following broad competency areas:
- Conducting STEM Research
- Research Methods
- Quantitative Methods in STEM Research
- Science and Society
- Scientific and Technical Writing
- Communicating STEM Research
IINSPIRE LSAMP Research Scholars are encouraged to complete this certificate as a participant in the IINSPIRE LSAMP Program.
