Finding a Research Mentor

Step 1: Learn more about and apply for research opportunities and internships.

Step 2: Reach out to recent IINSPIRE LSAMP research mentors to inquire about research opportunities with their research program. You may also contact Iowa State’s IINSPIRE LSAMP Campus Director, U. Sunday Tim, at tim@iastate.edu or 515-294-4246 to inquire about other potential research experiences.

Step 3: Apply for research funding. Note that you can also apply for research funding without a mentor and we will work to match you with a mentor.
